5 myths about real-world asset tokenization 🌾

Tokenization makes it possible to represent rights to real-world assets in digital form. However, misconceptions about the technology still prevent people from understanding its practical applications.

Let’s look at five common myths.

Myth 1. Tokenization is only relevant to the crypto market

In reality, the technology can be applied to assets from the traditional economy, including real estate, debt instruments, commodities, and agricultural projects.

Its potential extends far beyond the crypto industry.

Myth 2. Only large assets are suitable for tokenization

The digital representation of rights can simplify the way participation in projects is organized, regardless of the scale of the underlying assets.

Specific opportunities depend on the legal structure and the terms of the offering.

Web3Eco is registered in Switzerland🇨🇭, a jurisdiction with an established regulatory framework for digital assets.

Myth 3. Tokenization only makes sense for financial instruments

The technology can also be applied to assets connected with production and physical infrastructure.

Agriculture, for example, provides a tangible foundation for projects where economic results depend on real-world operations.

Myth 4. Tokenization and traditional business are incompatible

In practice, they can complement each other. Production, asset management, and customer relations remain part of the real economy, while digital tools help organize and record participants’ rights 📇

Myth 5. Tokenization is only relevant to technology companies

Its development also matters to asset owners seeking new ways to structure capital raising, as well as investors exploring opportunities to participate in real-world projects.

At Web3Eco, we approach tokenization in the context of real agribusiness!

➡ The project is built on agricultural assets and production activities, while digital infrastructure helps organize investor participation.

The practical value of this approach lies in combining a real asset with a well-designed participation structure.

🌾 Farmland: one of the most undervalued real assets

A new article in Agri Investor explores why farmland is by nature closer to real estate than to a conventional commodity market.
The logic is quite simple.

Land is a tangible and limited resource that retains its value regardless of the specific operator.

At the same time, it can generate income through agricultural production and increase in value as productivity grows and infrastructure develops 📈

For institutional capital, this is particularly interesting because agricultural assets allow investors to combine long term land ownership with cash flow generated through its use.

The data confirms the scale of this market

📊 According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the average value of U.S. agricultural real estate reached $11,120 per hectare in 2026, an increase of 3.4% year over year.

The total value of agricultural real estate, including land and buildings, amounted to approximately $3.6 trillion, or 83% of the value of all U.S. farm assets.

From 2020 to 2025, the average annual increase in the value of farmland, adjusted for inflation, was 2.6%.

These figures demonstrate the scale of farmland as a real asset class.

At the same time, its investment attractiveness depends not only on the value of the land itself, but also on how efficiently it is used and what income it generates.

At Web3Eco, we develop this approach through agricultural projects based on a hybrid model:

• 70% of the area is allocated to industrial paulownia
• 30% is allocated to high yield agricultural crops.

Paulownia forms a long term productive asset, while additional crops provide annual cash flow.

This is what makes agricultural real estate unique: land is both a tangible asset and the foundation for generating income 💸

It is precisely this combination of land value and the economic return generated through its use that makes agricultural assets attractive for long term capital.

RWA reach a new all time high 📈

According to RWA.xyz, the value of tokenized real world assets has already exceeded $34 billion.

Blockchain now hosts assets that form the foundation of the traditional financial market: government bonds, credit instruments, gold, equities, stakes in private companies, and real estate.

Among the largest tokenized assets:

🟢 Figure HELOC Token — more than $16.3 billion
🟢 Circle USYC — $2.69 billion
🟢 Tether Gold — $2.68 billion
🟢 Paxos Gold — $2.44 billion
🟢 BlackRock BUIDL — $2.22 billion

At the same time, tokenization is developing across several blockchain networks. Ethereum accounts for more than 56% of the RWA market, followed by BNB Chain, Solana, and Stellar.

This scale demonstrates how broad a range of real assets are already receiving digital representations and entering blockchain infrastructure.

For Web3Eco, this tokenization approach is applied to real productive assets.

The agrifund is based on a hybrid structure:

• 70% of the area is industrial paulownia
• 30% of the area is high yield agricultural crops

Paulownia forms a strategic asset, while additional crops provide annual returns from the plantations.

Tokenization makes it possible to bring this model into digital investment infrastructure.

This reduces barriers between real agribusiness and international capital and makes it easier to scale the investment model.

Investors from different countries can participate in financing real assets through digital infrastructure 📇

This is where the practical potential of RWA for Web3Eco lies!

A real productive asset receives a digital form, a transparent accounting structure, and the ability to attract capital from the global market.

🇬🇧 Seven British banks conduct their first transactions with tokenized deposits

On September 24, seven major UK banks completed their first real customer transactions using tokenized pounds as part of the Great British Tokenised Deposit initiative.

The project involves Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds Banking Group, Monzo, Nationwide, NatWest, and Santander.

The banks conducted two mortgage related transactions and tested a payment between a buyer and a seller on an online marketplace.

A tokenized deposit is regular bank money that is recorded and transferred through blockchain infrastructure.

At the same time, the legal nature of the bank deposit is preserved, while the funds themselves can be programmed 📇

For example, in the test mortgage transactions, the funds were automatically released once the required conditions had been met.

The next stage of the project is already connected to the capital markets!

The participants plan to create a separate governance structure for the initiative and issue three digital bonds in the first quarter of 2027, which will be traded and settled using tokenized deposits.

➡️ For the RWA market, this is a particularly important stage.

Tokenization is now affecting not only the assets themselves, but also the infrastructure through which settlements for those assets take place.

Web3Eco works specifically with real assets, which are given a digital form and can be connected to modern financial infrastructure.

As such solutions develop, the connection between physical assets and digital financial infrastructure is becoming increasingly practical.

Land, real estate, timber, and other real assets can increasingly operate within a new financial framework, where their issuance, recording, and settlement can be organized using blockchain technology.

🚀Can rising water costs make an agricultural project unprofitable?

For agriculture, the cost of water directly affects production economics.

In the podcast, Filipp Bolotov and Gennady M discussed water risk and how Web3Eco manages this factor.

Web3Eco sources water from its own wells and continues to develop its water infrastructure as the project expands.

The company is currently increasing the number of wells more than 200 meters deep. In the future, the plan is to increase their number to more than 10 company owned wells.

The next stage is the development of its own energy infrastructure and the installation of solar panels 🌞

This will reduce the project’s dependence on rising electricity costs and optimize infrastructure maintenance costs.

Filipp Bolotov discusses water infrastructure, agricultural production economics, and Web3Eco’s approach to resource management in more detail in the episode with Gennady M.

🏦 The ECB connects blockchain to traditional finance

On September 21, the European Central Bank launched Pontes, a new infrastructure that connects blockchain platforms used by financial markets with the Eurosystem’s payment system.

This means transactions involving tokenized assets can now be settled in central bank money, through the Eurosystem’s own infrastructure.

➡️ This makes it possible to connect settlement for assets on DLT platforms with the traditional financial system.

At the same time, the ECB has begun preparing to invest part of its own funds in tokenized securities.

At the initial stage, this will involve euro-denominated bonds issued by euro area governments, regional authorities, agencies, and European supranational organizations.

Pontes expands the use of blockchain infrastructure in the traditional financial sector. The technology is being used for settlement of tokenized assets and is becoming part of financial market infrastructure 📇

It is important to note that the system is part of the Eurosystem’s broader strategy!

The ECB is also developing the Appia project, which is intended to lay the foundation for the long term development of tokenized financial markets in Europe.

For investors, the development of this infrastructure opens access to new ways of working with tokenized assets within the regulated financial system.

The ECB is already building the practical infrastructure for this, and with it, the space for the further development of RWA and other digital forms of real world assets is expanding 🌐

🌳 The role of forests in the global economy and people's incomes

FAO has published a new global report on the role of forests and trees in food security, nutrition, and people's incomes.

➡️ According to the organization, more than 5 billion people worldwide depend on forests to some extent for their livelihoods.

The economic role of forests is much broader than timber production!

Forest resources provide people with food, fuel, medicinal plants, and other resources, while income from forest products becomes an additional source of income for rural communities.

At the same time, trees can support agricultural production itself.

They influence soil conditions, water cycles, pollination, and the resilience of agricultural systems to climate change.

For the investment market, this means taking a broader view of forest assets 👍

A plantation can simultaneously create a timber resource, support agricultural production, and generate long-term economic value from the land.

This is the approach used in Web3Eco's model, where industrial timber crops are combined with agricultural activities.

🌱 For industrial production, timber plantations represent a long-term asset, with value generated as the trees grow and the timber is subsequently harvested and sold!

📇 Tokenized plantations: RWA for real production

The market for tokenized real world assets continues to reach new highs.

According to RWA.xyz, the value of distributed tokenized RWA exceeded $39 billion in September 2026, while the number of holders reached a record 3.67 million.

Today, RWA already includes government bonds, credit instruments, equities, real estate, and commodity assets.

The next interesting asset class for tokenization is connected to physical production: land, timber, and agricultural assets 🌾

For RWA, the ability to connect a digital asset with a physical asset, its condition, and measurable results is important.

In the case of plantations, these parameters can include land area, number of trees, tree age, production volume, and the stage of project development.

The prospects of the agricultural sector itself also remain significant.

➡️ According to the OECD and FAO, global agricultural and fish production will increase by 13% by 2035, with growth driven primarily by higher productivity.

Long term demand is also supported by the timber market. FAO forecasts a 37% increase in global consumption of processed wood by 2050.

At Web3Eco, this approach is implemented through a hybrid plantation model:

• 70% of the area is industrial paulownia
• 30% of the area is high yield agricultural crops

Paulownia creates a long term timber asset, while additional crops generate annual cash flow during the trees’ growth period.

Tokenization connects the physical asset with digital investment infrastructure, making it possible to structure investor rights and track the project’s economic performance in digital form ↗️

RWA remains a link between digital capital and real production, where behind the tokenized asset are land, trees, crops, and the economic value they create.

🌳 7 years of paulownia growth: what happens to the tree from planting to commercial timber?

Paulownia Shan Tong goes through several very different stages of development during its first years.

At first, the tree’s main task is to develop a strong root system and rapidly grow its trunk.

Then the diameter increases, the future volume of timber develops, and in the final years the tree focuses on the quality and thickness of the trunk.

Let’s take a look at what happens to the plantation year by year.

Year 1 — building the foundation

After planting, the tree actively develops its root system while simultaneously growing its above-ground structure.

During this period, stable soil moisture and proper formation of a single straight trunk are especially important.

Year 2 — intensive growth

After the roots become established, Shan Tong enters a phase of active growth. Height, trunk diameter, and crown area increase.

For an industrial plantation, it is important to develop a straight trunk with a minimum number of defects 🌿

Year 3 — accumulating timber mass

The tree moves from the young plant stage into a fully established young tree.

Intensive diameter growth and timber accumulation continue.

In a study by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW on the characteristics of the Shan Tong variety, a three-year-old tree reached 4.2 m in height, while the trunk diameter at the base was 11 cm.

Year 4 — increasing trunk volume

Growth continues, but diameter becomes increasingly important for future commercial timber. The trunk becomes thicker, timber volume increases, and the foundation for future commercial material is formed 📈

Year 5 — developing the commercial trunk

Most of the growth is concentrated on increasing trunk diameter and timber mass.

The results of previous years become clearly visible: trunk straightness, the absence of unnecessary shoots, and the quality of care directly affect the future timber yield.

Year 6 — accumulating the main timber mass

The tree continues to increase in diameter and trunk volume. When assessing future production, the length of the quality trunk, density, timber uniformity, and the absence of defects become especially important 🪵

Year 7 — commercial and premium timber

Under suitable conditions, Shan Tong can reach a stage where a significant part of the trunk has industrial value.

Paulownia timber is characterized by low density and light weight, making it in demand for furniture production, interior finishing, and other types of processing.

➡️ Seven years for Shan Tong means the gradual formation of a future timber asset.

The result is determined not only by growth rate.

Water, nutrition, trunk formation, planting density, and care at every stage all influence how much high-quality timber will be obtained at the end of the cycle.

Growth rate creates the potential, while cultivation technology determines the quality of the timber!

📉How can investors protect their capital in 2026?

The RWA (Real World Assets) sector is undergoing a major transformation.

According to https://rwa.xyz/, the value of distributed assets on blockchain has exceeded $33 billion, while reports from Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and McKinsey project the value of tokenized assets to reach $2–16 trillion by 2030.

At the same time, the rapid development of financial technology is bringing new and increasingly complex risks.

Fresh lessons from the market

According to https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/, losses from fraudulent investment schemes and other forms of crypto-related fraud have reached $17 billion.

🟢 AI-driven social engineering attacks: Projects using AI-generated evidence of activity and deepfakes are reportedly extracting 4.5 times more capital on average than traditional schemes, with $3.2 million compared with $719,000 per attack.

🟢 Rug pulls and illiquid smart contracts: Without legally enforceable collateral and clear mechanisms for converting digital assets into underlying value, tokens with no real economic foundation can collapse almost instantly.

🟢 Legal uncertainty: Unstructured offshore issuances without clearly defined ownership rights to physical assets can make legal recovery extremely difficult.

5 criteria for institutional-grade reliability

1️⃣ Legal structure and ownership rights: Clearly structured special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with physical assets directly registered in the relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

2️⃣ Physical and digital audits: Regular verification of smart contracts by independent auditing firms such as CertiK or Hacken, combined with physical verification of the underlying assets.

3️⃣ Proven cash flow: Investor returns should come from actual operating activity in the real economy, such as B2B sales and commodity trading, rather than from redistributing funds raised from new participants.

4️⃣ Insurance of physical assets: Risks associated with the loss or damage of underlying physical assets should be transferred to accredited insurance providers.

5️⃣ Transparent financial reporting: Audited financial statements and relevant regulatory documentation should be available for review.

The institutional reliability model

Web3Eco 🌳 develops and scales industrial plantations of fast-growing paulownia trees and agricultural crops, building a long-term agricultural infrastructure.

Our model is based on diversification across different types of agricultural assets:

• 70% of the land is allocated to industrial paulownia, creating a long-term biological asset and building timber value over time.

• 30% is allocated to high-value agricultural crops, generating annual revenue and supporting the operating economics of the plantations.

Direct asset backing: Each digital investment instrument is legally linked to a specific land plot.

Risk management: All plantations are subject to commercial insurance against relevant unforeseen risks.

The plantations continue to expand, while the company’s infrastructure develops alongside the growing agricultural market.

A structured approach to legal protection, real asset backing, commercial insurance and auditable financial reporting are the foundations of Web3Eco’s 🌿 approach to transparency and investor protection.

🌿 Agriculture: The Hidden Giant of the Global Economy

While AI and digital markets are growing rapidly, agriculture often remains outside the spotlight. Yet the agricultural sector continues to form the foundation of a resilient economy.

Over the past decades, global agricultural output has reached $3.5–4 trillion, and the market continues to grow on the back of fundamental drivers that cannot simply be replaced or eliminated.

The foundation of demand

Unlike many industries, demand for agricultural products is structural:

• population growth increases consumption
• limited agricultural land puts pressure on supply
• emerging economies continue to increase consumption
• technology improves efficiency but does not eliminate demand

https://knowledge4policy.ec.europa.eu/publication/rethinking-global-food-demand-2050_en, global food demand is expected to increase by more than 50% by 2050. This creates a long term foundation for continued growth in the agricultural sector 🌱

The shift toward a new investment class

Agriculture is gradually moving beyond its traditional role and becoming an increasingly relevant area for capital.

Investors are increasingly looking at agricultural assets as:
• a source of recurring annual income
• a potential hedge against inflation
• a long term real asset backed by fundamental demand

🌳 One area attracting particular attention is agroforestry, where multiple sources of income are combined on the same land.

Modern agricultural businesses are moving away from models where returns depend on a single harvest and toward diversified structures where income is generated throughout the production cycle.

This is the model we are developing at Web3Eco through plantation diversification:

• 70% of the land is allocated to industrial paulownia, creating a long term biological asset and timber value

• 30% is allocated to high value agricultural crops, generating annual income and supporting the operational economics of the plantations

This structure allows us to combine two objectives: increasing the value of the underlying asset while generating recurring cash flow.

If you would like to learn more about how our hybrid agricultural model works and how annual plantation income is generated, contact Web3Eco support. Our team will be happy to answer your questions ➡️ https://t.me/Web3eco_company2

🌳 The largest industrial paulownia plantation in Central Asia

Web3Eco continues to develop one of the region's largest industrial fast growing timber plantation projects.

Today, the plantations are home to more than 150,000 Shan Tong paulownia trees across over 230 hectares of land. The project also includes high value agricultural crops, including vegetables and commercial orchards.

Over the past few years, young saplings have grown into mature trees with well established root systems and rapidly developing trunks.

This stage is critical, as it is when the key characteristics of the future timber are formed, determining its quality, strength, and market value 🪵

The project also delivers a significant environmental impact. As the trees continue to grow, they actively absorb carbon dioxide, and the plantations have already captured tens of thousands of tons of CO₂ 🌿

🌳 Can you build an agribusiness without years of experience?

Agribusiness requires deep expertise in cultivation, land management, and plantation operations.

A common question is whether you need to build a project from scratch or whether it's possible to join an established model.

In this podcast excerpt, Filipp Bolotov explains how the company evolved, why we first developed our own plantations, and only then opened the project to investors.

He also discusses how the investment model works today.

Learn how returns are distributed among investors and how complementary crops generate cash flow even before the paulownia plantations reach full production 🌿

🌍 What’s happening in the carbon credit market in 2026?

The carbon credit market continues to evolve alongside the global climate agenda.

Governments are strengthening regulatory frameworks, major companies are increasing investments in emissions reduction projects, and forestry and agricultural initiatives remain among the leading sources of high quality carbon credits.

Here are some of the key developments from recent months:

🇪🇺 The European Union is revising the rules of the world’s largest carbon market

The European Commission https://www.reuters.com/business/environment/eus-plan-overhaul-its-carbon-market-2026-07-17/.

The proposals include updates to the emissions trading framework, greater support for carbon removal initiatives, and additional incentives for industrial decarbonization.

These changes are being closely watched, as the EU carbon market often sets the benchmark for climate policy worldwide.

📈 Carbon allowance prices in Europe continue to rise

https://www.abnamro.com/research/en/our-research/carbon-market-strategist-carbon-prices-heat-up-in-2026 the European carbon market to strengthen further.

One of the main drivers is the gradual reduction in the supply of emissions allowances combined with increasingly ambitious climate policies. According to several forecasts, the price of EU Allowances could exceed €100 per ton.

🌍 Companies have retired more than 1.1 billion carbon credits over the past decade

https://abatable.com/blog/carbon-market-dynamics-in-2026, companies worldwide have retired more than 1.1 billion carbon credits over the last ten years.

Following a period of market correction, demand for high quality climate projects is recovering, with buyers increasingly favoring newly issued credits backed by transparent methodologies.

🌳 Biological assets remain one of the primary sources of nature based carbon credits

Reforestation, new plantation development, and sustainable forest management continue to be viewed as some of the most scalable approaches to generating nature based carbon credits.

As the market matures, interest in these projects continues to grow among both businesses and institutional investors.

The carbon credit market continues to evolve, and with it, the importance of projects built on real biological assets and long term natural resource management continues to increase.

💭 Why Are Real Estate Returns Increasingly Being Outperformed by Alternative Investment Models?

In this clip from the Millionaires podcast, Web3Eco CEO Filipp Bolotov explains why residential rental properties around the world typically generate annual returns of 3–7% and what alternative model Web3Eco is building 🌿

📈 The discussion focuses on a model with multiple sources of value:

• agricultural crops generate recurring annual income;
• paulownia plantations increase the value of the underlying asset over time;
• environmental impact strengthens the long term value of the investment.

Filipp compares a hectare of paulownia to a green bitcoin:
An asset that has the potential to appreciate alongside growing demand, while being backed by tangible resources: land, timber, and nature.

🌳 Which Paulownia Variety Is Best Suited for Commercial Plantations?

Paulownia includes several natural species and a wide range of hybrids.

Each variety differs in growth rate, timber quality, climate resilience, and suitability for commercial cultivation.

That is why choosing the right variety is one of the most important decisions when establishing a commercial plantation. It directly affects tree growth, project economics, and the quality of the timber produced.

Among the best known species are:

🌿 Paulownia tomentosa – one of the most widely known species, commonly used in landscaping thanks to its beautiful flowering and ornamental value.

🌿 Paulownia fortunei – known for its rapid growth and strong adaptation to warm climates. It has long been cultivated in China and is widely used for timber production.

🌿 Paulownia elongata – valued for its fast growth and straight trunk, making it well suited for forestry and the timber industry.

In addition to these natural species, modern breeding programs have produced hybrids specifically designed for commercial plantations. One of them is Paulownia Shan Tong, the variety grown across our plantations.

Shan Tong combines the characteristics of Paulownia fortunei and Paulownia tomentosa, offering several advantages for commercial cultivation:

• rapid growth;
• high tolerance to drought and frost;
• a straight trunk with very few knots;
• high quality timber used in furniture manufacturing, construction, and interior materials;
• the ability to regenerate after harvesting, allowing multiple growth cycles from the same root system.

➡️ This combination of characteristics has made Shan Tong one of the most widely used hybrids for commercial paulownia plantations around the world.

At Web3Eco, the choice of variety is based not only on growth speed, but also on the long term economics of the project.

For commercial plantations, it is essential to consider the entire life cycle of the trees, including climate resilience, timber quality, scalability, and efficient plantation management.

That is why we grow Shan Tong, a hybrid that meets the requirements of modern commercial timber production 🪵

📊 Where Is the RWA Market Concentrated Today?

Competition in the RWA market is entering a new phase. Nearly every major blockchain network is now building infrastructure for tokenized real world assets, from government bonds and real estate to commodities and agricultural projects.

According to the latest data:

🔘Ethereum remains the market leader with a 43% share and $14.8 billion in tokenized assets.

🔘BNB Chain ranks second with $5.2 billion, recording approximately 32% growth over the past 30 days.

🔘Solana and Stellar are now close to $3 billion each. Solana supports a broad range of tokenized assets, while Stellar is primarily focused on tokenized U.S. Treasury products.

🔘Avalanche has become one of the fastest growing networks in the sector, with RWA assets increasing by 61% over the past month to reach $2.1 billion.

Liquid Network, zkSync Era, and Arbitrum are also expanding their presence, each developing its own specialization within the tokenized asset ecosystem.

Today, competition between blockchains is increasingly defined not only by technology, but by the quality and scale of real world assets they are able to bring onchain. That is why RWA continues to be one of the fastest growing segments of the digital asset industry 📈

📢 Important this week: Ecology and blockchain

This week, climate risks, forest conservation financing, strong demand for sustainable bonds, and a major reform of the digital asset market in South Korea were in focus.

Four different developments that clearly show how approaches to capital, natural resources, and financial infrastructure are changing.

1️⃣ UNEP: the world could exceed the 1.5°C threshold in the coming years

UNEP warned that global temperatures could exceed 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels in the coming years.

Returning below this threshold will require a sharp reduction in emissions and large-scale CO₂ removal from the atmosphere.

2️⃣ The UK invests £400 million in tropical forest protection

The UK announced plans to invest £400 million ($541 million) in the Tropical Forests Forever Facility, a long-term financing mechanism for tropical forest conservation created by Brazil.

Notably, this is not a grant but debt financing: the fund is designed to generate returns while simultaneously directing payments to countries for preserving their forests.

3️⃣ The World Bank issues $4 billion in sustainable development bonds

In August, the World Bank issued $4 billion in seven-year bonds. Demand nearly tripled the issue size: the order book exceeded $11 billion, with orders coming from more than 150 investors.

This result demonstrates strong institutional demand for debt instruments linked to sustainable development.

4️⃣ South Korea plans to tokenize stocks, bonds, and funds

South Korea’s financial regulator presented a three-stage plan for the tokenization of financial assets, which provides for the digitization not only of fractional interests but also of ordinary stocks, bonds, and funds.

The first stage is planned to begin after the new legislation comes into force in February 2027. The ultimate goal is to create a fully digital infrastructure for the issuance, trading, and settlement of such assets.

✅ The week in review

At first glance, forest financing, sustainable bond issuance, and stock tokenization belong to different segments.

In practice, these developments are connected by one question: how can capital be directed toward assets that have real economic value, and how can capital be deployed more efficiently?

This is where green finance, natural capital, and blockchain technology intersect.

For Web3Eco, this direction is connected with the tokenization of agricultural and natural assets, where real assets remain the foundation for new financial instruments 🌿

❗️Several of the largest AI services experienced outages at the same time yesterday

On September 3, users around the world experienced major disruptions affecting ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok.

The issues affected chats, authentication, file uploads, APIs, and other functions. OpenAI, Anthropic, and xAI all reported outages at the same time.

Situations like this clearly demonstrate how dependent the modern economy is on complex digital infrastructure.

Even the largest technology platforms can face technical limitations, while interconnected systems can experience disruptions practically simultaneously.

For an investor, an important question remains: what portion of capital is tied to technology, and what portion is tied to real production?

➡️ Land, timber, and agricultural products are assets that exist outside digital infrastructure.

Their economic value is created through the production of physical goods and remains relevant in a changing technological environment.

Demand for agricultural products has a fundamental basis. According to the OECD–FAO, global agricultural and fish production is expected to grow by approximately 14% by 2034.

Another factor is the limited availability of quality land and water resources.

FAO notes in its 2025 report that land degradation is already affecting agricultural productivity and creating additional pressure on future production volumes.

This is why cultivation of trees and agricultural crops is attracting interest as a sector connected to a real production cycle 🪵

Land is used to produce goods, trees accumulate biomass, and the resulting raw materials are used in construction, furniture manufacturing, finishing materials, and other industries.

Technology will continue to develop, digital platforms will become an increasingly important part of the economy, and the infrastructure around them will become more complex.

At the same time, the fundamental demand for timber and food remains connected to the physical world 🌿

For long-term capital, this is an important principle: part of the value should be created not only within digital systems, but also directly in the real economy.

📈 Bitcoin $80,000: where is the tokenization market heading?

Bitcoin has once again surpassed this price level, reaching its highest level in the past three months.

Over the past week, it gained more than 22%, while inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs exceeded $1.9 billion over five trading days.

The growth is accompanied by a return of capital to digital assets and increased interest from institutional market participants.

At the same time, another sector is developing in parallel, with a much more direct connection to traditional financial markets: the tokenization of real-world assets 🌐

According to The Block, the volume of tokenized asset transfers reached $20 billion in August, more than doubling compared to July.

The market capitalization of tokenized equities reached $2.8 billion, while their share of tokenized assets tripled since the beginning of the year, reaching 15%.

Even more telling is the growth of the overall RWA market.

According to The Block Research, the total value of tokenized real-world assets exceeded $730 billion, increasing by 197% over 12 months through March 2026.

➡️ The distributed asset segment excluding stablecoins reached $29 billion and grew even faster, by 246% over the same period.

The structure of the market is changing as well

Most tokenization activity is still concentrated in government bonds, money market funds and credit instruments.

However, in 2026, the development of tokenized equities, funds and other capital market instruments has accelerated significantly.

In June, the CEO of Securitize, one of the largest infrastructure platforms in the real-world asset tokenization sector, estimated the potential market for tokenized equities and ETFs at $5 trillion.

This figure represents a projection of potential market development, not the current market capitalization. If such a scenario materializes, tokenization could cover a significant portion of the traditional capital market.

For investors, the structure of what is happening is particularly important.
Bitcoin is attracting capital into digital infrastructure, while tokenization is expanding the use of this infrastructure to real financial and productive assets.

The next stage of RWA development will focus on infrastructure for real estate, private credit, funds, infrastructure and agricultural assets 🌿

This is where one of the most interesting points of intersection between traditional capital and blockchain technology is emerging: digital form is becoming a tool for working with real assets, rather than a standalone object of speculation.

🌿 Another Milestone in Expanding Our Irrigation Infrastructure

One of the key stages in building our second pumping station has now been completed.

The engineering infrastructure is fully in place: the facility has been connected to the irrigation system, the equipment has been installed, construction work has been completed, and the project has successfully passed inspection by the relevant authorities.

All required documentation has been signed, and the station is now ready to be commissioned.

Expanding our irrigation infrastructure is a key part of the company's long term strategy. As the trees mature, their demand for water continues to increase.

Paulownia is known for its exceptional growth rate, but that rapid growth also means it requires significantly more water than most traditional timber species.

By expanding the irrigation system, we can maintain optimal growing conditions while reducing agricultural and operational risks 🔐

Once commissioned, the second pumping station will increase the water supply across the plantations, improve the reliability of the irrigation network, and provide the additional capacity needed to support the continued growth of the agricultural fund.

➡️ We will continue sharing the progress of our assets not only through reports and numbers, but also directly from our plantations.

🪵 A new growth cycle for the global timber market

The global timber market is entering a recovery phase following the significant downturn of 2023.

Recent FAO data show growth across most key product categories and a recovery in international trade.

In 2024, global exports of wood and paper products reached $486 billion, up 1.4% year on year. In 2023, trade had declined by as much as 14%.

The dynamics of processed wood are particularly notable:

• production of wood-based panels increased by 5%, reaching 393 million m³;
• international trade in panels grew by 6%, reaching 90 million m³;
• industrial roundwood production increased by 2%, reaching 1.96 billion m³.

These figures reflect structural demand for timber as a raw material for construction, furniture, interior materials and a wide range of other industries.

🏗 Another growing segment is engineered wood

The mass timber market is also expanding, including CLT, Glulam, LVL and other structural wood products.

According to one recent estimate, the global mass timber market is worth more than $1.07 billion in 2026 and could reach $1.79 billion by 2033, with an average annual growth rate of around 7.7%.

In the United States, industry programs also point to growing adoption of timber construction. In 2025, with support from the Softwood Lumber Board, 1 536 construction projects representing around 62 million square feet were converted to wood-based structural systems.

This generated additional demand for 3.4 million m³ of lumber ⬆

The approach to timber sourcing is changing as well

From December 30, 2026, the EUDR requirements will begin applying to large and medium-sized operators in the EU.

For wood products, companies will need to demonstrate that their raw materials are not associated with recent deforestation or forest degradation.

For the market, this means greater attention to where, how and on what type of land timber is grown.

At Web3Eco, this principle is built into the project model from the outset. The company develops renewable plantations of Paulownia Shan Tong.

The trees are grown on designated agricultural land, while the full production cycle can be monitored from planting through harvesting and further processing.

🌿 Paulownia can provide a renewable source of timber: after harvesting, the tree can regenerate from its existing root system, creating the potential for subsequent timber cycles without replanting every tree.

This approach combines controlled sourcing, renewable timber production and the long-term use of agricultural land.
